Job Description
Davis H. Elliot Construction Company, Inc. is looking for an individual to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician you will be required to perform all types of electrical work in commercial construction, industrial, and healthcare environments. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following:
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

• Install and maintain electrical circuitry, branch circuits and feeders for electrical outlets and distribution equipment.
• Installing, bending, and threading EMT and Rigid conduit. MC Cable and other
• Troubleshooting electrical circuits.
• Install electrical devices and fixtures.
• Install electrical distribution equipment.
• Install lighting control systems.
• Reading blueprints, drawings, schematics, specs, and other reference material.
• Receive and complete work orders.
• Capable of working with and training Electrical apprentices.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Operate tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures.
• Versatile to work in commercial and industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to work as a part of a team.
• Willing and eager to learn and grow themselves and the company.
• Kentucky electrical license is recommended but not required.
• 5 Years of experience recommended.
• Valid drivers license.
• Own your own hand tools.
• Proficiency with NEC and local codes
• Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening.
